Artist Opportunities
Fondation Fiminco Curatorial Residency Open Call
Deadline: December 10
Curators are invited to apply for a three-month residency from March to May 2024 to research, create, and produce an exhibition at Fondation Fiminco in Romainville (Seine-Saint-Denis), France. The curator receives accommodation, a €3,000 research grant, and up to €1,000 for production of an event.

Tusen Takk 2025 Visual Arts Residency
Deadline: December 15
Tusen Takk Foundation sits on a peninsula in Northwest Michigan, on a secluded property with architect-designed buildings. A residency includes housing, an honorarium of $625 per week to help cover residency-related costs, access to a vehicle, and opportunities to connect with the local community and Tusan Takk’s network.

G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation Art Prize
Deadline: December 15
Artists are invited to submit proposals around the theme of care. Each of the three winning proposals will be awarded €7,000, and an additional €5,000 will be made available to each artist for the construction of the work.

Newberry Library Artist-in-Residence Fellowships
Deadline: December 15
Apply for one of three different one-month-long fellowships with The Newberry for visual and performing artists, writers, journalists, filmmakers, and other humanists, each with a $3,000 stipend.

Open Call for Landskrona Foto Festival 2024
Deadline: December 19
Landskrona Foto Festival invites submissions for outdoor photo installations during the festival, which runs September 6 - 22, 2024, in Landskrona, Sweden. Artists receive a €400 artist fee, up to €300 travel reimbursement, and accommodation during the opening weekend of the festival.

MAP Fund Grants for New Live Performance
Deadline: December 19
MAP Fund grants award a $25,000 grant for the creation and development of a new, live performance project, a $5,000 unrestricted general operating grant, and a $1,000 microgrant to redistribute to another artist in the artist’s community.

Aviário Residency Open Call for Summer/Fall 2024
Deadline: December 31
Aviário Studio invites applications for the Multidisciplinary Residency in Zezere, Portugal, which aims to promote exploration and production in the visual arts. Aviário Studio is an artist-run space with workshops equipped to develop works in printmaking, ceramics, wood, metal, sculpture, installation, drawing, painting, photography, and bookbinding. Residency fees vary.

Prisma Art Prize
Deadline: January 11
Prisma Art Prize is a quarterly art contest to promote emerging painters and visual artists. One overall finalist each quarter receives €500, and all finalists have the opportunity to show in a group exhibition in 2024.
Submission fee: €29 for three works, plus €5/work up to 8 total
